and please no crap about how wrong it is for a parent to let their kid use their credit card. i have a limit and im responsible. k?
Answer:
With your parent permission you can use their card or anyone card. The person who can get you in trouble is the card holder. Only don't sign someones elses name, sign your name. And for anyone who thinks that doesn't work, I have signed my name to my parents credit card, signed my name to a friends card, never a question. The only thing, and this may not happen, is you get questioned by a sales person because of your age.
yah it is illegal. you aren't allowed to forge your parent's signature
It is illegal to sign her name, with you claiming to be her.

But it is not illegal to use the card in situations where a signature is not required -- such as online, or if there is an electronic pin number. As long as you have permission, it's legal.

If she intends to let you use the account often, she can ask the credit card company to send out a new card with your name on it (same account) and then you can sign your name.
No its not illegal. Its fine. I do it, and right now i am in the u.s. i use my dads si it must be fine. i mean when they say please sign here "mr. riviara" they dont call the police cause im a girl.
You generally cannot use your parents credit card. You might want to try and see if your parents can get you one in your own name with a limit. It works alot better too. Good Luck =]
A simple phone call to the card company by your mom can have you authorized to use the card with her permission, then everything is legal. Loaning you the card is OK with her permission too. It only becomes a problem if you make a charge that she has not given you permission to make.
As long as your mom knows what you are going to use her credit card for, it is not wrong, but it you go purchase items that she is not first told about, then it is wrong.
NOPE NOT AT ALL
Yeah, it is illegal to forge her name. But you don't need to forge her name, you can use your own name and the store will accept it. But, when the bill get back to your mom, you have to figure that out.
If you have been given the card by the owner and told to use it, then you may.

You SHOULD NOT forge her name, that is bad. The people accepting the charge should be checking the signature. I've heard of people sending along letters of approval, but your mileage may vary. "She said its okay" won't sound good at the register, and even if things are eventually worked out a chat with store security about the card will be annoying.

Since this sounds like a regular activity I suggest your parents ask to have a card issued in your name. As an account owner I can put whomever I wish on the account.

Even better, have an account opened in your name with them as co-signers. I don't think it is wrong at all to teach young adults about how to use credit cards responsibly. This will also begin to build you a 'good' credit history.
Not if you buy me something. My parents lever lent me their credit card and I need to go shopping.
hell yeah what a stupid *** question

  1. It is not illegal to sign another person's signature unless you are doing it to defraud someone of money or property. In the above case you are doing neither, so it should be fine. Just make sure you have the card holders permission.
